CECER-DLL Research Briefs #4-8 - Findings from Critical Research Reviews and Analysis of the ECLS-B Dataset
The CECER-DLL is excited to announce the release of five new research briefs. We present four research briefs based on critical reviews of the research literature on the following topics: language & literacy development of dual language learners, social-emotional development of DLLs, early care and education program quality measures used with DLLs, and early care and education practices used with DLLs. In addition, corresponding annotated bibliographies for all studies included in each review can be located in the Document Library. The CECER-DLL is also pleased to share a research brief on factors associated with the development of DLLs, based on secondary data analysis of the Early Childhood Longitudinal Study – Birth Cohort (ECLS-B). The CECER-DLL is also in the process of developing manuscripts for each of these briefs to be considered for peer-reviewed publication.
